La Hacienda - Peachtree City

We would like to take a minute to clear up any confusion regarding our association with La Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Peachtree City. We recently sent out an email saying that we would no longer be performing at La Hacienda in PTC. We a happy to announce that this is no longer the case and that we will continue to perform at La Hacienda in PTC most Friday nights. Check our calendar to confirm exact dates. We would like to apologize to anyone who may have come out last Friday night (Nov. 20) expecting us to be there. This was simply a case of the room being double booked. We played there last night though and had a great time. If you did not make it out then please join us back there on Friday Dec. 11th. Many thanks to the management and staff at La Hacienda in PTC for the opportunity to perform there in 2009 as well as the continued opportunity in 2010.

La Parilla Saturday Nights

After a couple of one niters at La Parilla in Newnan we have been asked to do Saturday nights there on a regular basis. Thanks to all who came out the first couple of gigs and put in a good word with the staff and made this happen. We will of course do an occasional Saturday night gig elsewhere but it looks like we have Saturday nights locked in at La Parilla for the foreseeable future. So please come out and support live music in your area by visiting La Parilla in Newnan.

Doin' the 'Mo !!!

... the Alamo that is. We performed at the Alamo on the square in Newnan this past Friday night August 28th. This was our first gig at the Alamo. If you currently follow us from week to week this was definitely different than our typical restaurant gigs. The Alamo is a much bigger room (it was formerly a movie theater) with a nice big professional sound and lighting system. We were very excited about the prospect of really cranking up and being able to perform (...somewhere above dinner music volume anyway). If you didn't make it out we had a great time and the folks at the Alamo have asked us to return. So please make plans to come out and join us on Friday October 9th at the Alamo on the square in Newnan.

What a weekend !!!

What a weekend! We did La Hacienda Newnan on Thursday. The weather was questionable but we rolled the dice and played out on the patio anyway. By the second set the clouds cleared and we had blues skies. Friday night was Maguires in Senoia. Our buddy Jason Bowen came and hung out with us for the evening. Check Jason out online at http://www.myspace.com/jasonscottbowen. You can also see Jason live at Maguires on June 18. Saturday night was Partners Pizza in Fayetteville. We had a blast, the patio was packed and the weather was just perfect. Thanks to all who came out for a slice of pizza and a little live music.

We had a great time at Partner's Pizza in Fayetteville this past Saturday evening May 23. The plan to play on the patio was shut down by the inclimate weather so we brought the party inside and made the best of it. Come out and join us on the patio next Saturday (May 30) 7:00pm till 9:00pm at Partner's Pizza in Fayetteville.

Cinco de Mayo !!!

If you didn’t make It to La Hacienda in Newnan for Cinco de Mayo (May 5th for all you Gringos) you really missed a blowout. Ernesto and the staff there went out of their way to insure that a good time was had by all. The party quite literally spilled out into the parking lot with a blowup slide for the kids and lots of extra space (not to mention an additional bar) outside to accommodate the crowd. We had the good fortune of performing that evening and we truly had a blast. Keep La Hacienda Newnan in mind next year when you’re wondering were you can go to really celebrate Cinco de Mayo !!!

Officially Playing Out

I'm very excited to announce that my good friend Kevin Wallace and I have put together a new project for 2009. Kevin and I have worked together for the last three and a half years as members of the Vivid Image Band. I will be covering guitar and vocal duties while Kevin brings his keyboard prowess as well as his wonderful vocals to the mix. This duo project will be part acoustic, part electric and all fun. We decided that musically anything goes so no genre, style or decade will be off limits. We began rehearsals in early January and have put together a few sets of material and we’ll continue to add tunes as things progress and evolve. We already have several gigs under our belt and have more dates on the calendar. See the “Upcoming Dates” section and come out and visit us at your local restaurant, coffee shop or bar.
